Bristol Harbour Festival (Bristol, 18 – 20 July)
This vibrant – and free – annual celebration showcases Bristol’s rich maritime heritage alongside contemporary arts and culture. Over one buzzing weekend, the historic harbourside transforms into a bustling hub of live music, street performances, food stalls, craft markets and family-friendly activities. Expect everything from traditional sea shanties and tall ships to modern dance, theatre and interactive art installations – a brilliant event for all ages.

Wembley Park Wellness Festival (London, 20 July)
Wellness is taking centre stage this summer, and London’s Wembley Park is hosting a one-day festival dedicated to fitness, mental health and community spirit. Held at Samovar Space, the event includes Hyrox workshops, high-energy glute camps, Les Mills body balance sessions and mental health seminars. Visitors can also enjoy DJ sets, nutritious eats and a feel-good atmosphere.

Foodies Festival (Edinburgh, 1 – 3 August)
Dubbed ‘Gastro-Glastonbury’, this delicious three-day event in Inverleith Park, Stockbridge, blends culinary excellence with live music and family fun. Enjoy demos from Michelin-starred and MasterChef-winning chefs in the Chefs Theatre, champagne and wine tastings, BBQ masterclasses and even a silent disco. There’s plenty for kids too at the Kids Cookery School. With headline acts like Symphonic Ibiza, The Wanted 2.0 and Scouting for Girls, it’s the perfect summer outing for food and music lovers alike.

Brighton & Hove Pride (Brighton, 2 August)
The UK’s flagship LGBTQ+ celebration attracts around half a million visitors and kicks off with a dazzling parade from Hove Lawns through the city centre – a vibrant celebration of resilience, unity and joy. The party continues at Preston Park with Pride in the Park, headlined in 2025 by none other than Mariah Carey and the Sugababes, alongside a mix of live stages, cabaret and family-friendly zones. A joyful day out that also raises over £1 million for local causes.
Shambala Festival (Northamptonshire, 21 – 24 August)
Held on a secret estate near Market Harborough, Shambala is a hidden gem celebrating its 25th anniversary this August. The line-up includes over 200 performances, from underground electronic beats and live bands to cabaret, comedy, immersive art, talks and theatre. This year’s edition features Grammy-winners Digable Planets and Asian Dub Foundation, plus quirky highlights like the Shambolympics, fancy-dress carnivals and global food vendors. Entirely vegetarian, plastic-free and eco-powered, Shambala is a meaningful, magical festival escape.

Into the Wild Festival (West Sussex, 22 – 25 August)
A vibrant, family-focused festival that’s tailor-made for children, Into the Wild offers a fairy-tale weekend of creativity and nature. Set among the ancient Chiddinglye estate – with towering Sequoias, meadows and hidden glades – it features forest crafts, storytelling, dance, music and hands-on workshops.
