What’s on in Edinburgh? Futon Company picks the pick of the crop for September…

Forth Bridges Festival

The Festival is a Homecoming 2014 Signature Event which will attract over 100,000 local, national and international visitors over a 10 day period. This year’s festival will celebrate the iconic Forth Bridges and will mark the 50th Birthday of a remarkable feat of engineering and one of Scotland’s most recognisable landmarks – the Forth Road Bridge. To celebrate 50 years of connecting Edinburgh and Fife, the 10-day extravaganza will introduce a brand new programme of exciting and unique events including Scotland Welcomes the World to Lunch, a Birthday Boat Flotilla, Torch Light Procession and a dramatic Light and Firework show.
