York Food Festival
The York Food Festival is a 10 day event which celebrates local and regional food and drink. It is a not-for-profit organisation and any money generated from ticket sales goes back into the festival to improve it year after year! Key features of the festival include a schools programme; young chefs competition; evening programme; ale trail; ‘dine at my table’ and taste trail. Free entry to the markets, the sampling stand, festival bar and most demos. Specific events including tastings and dinners are ticketed at various prices. Sky Ride York
The Sky Ride York is back! Join thousands of residents from across the county for a fantastic traffic-free bike ride through the city. The route – open from 10.30am-4pm – starts from Clifford’s Tower and passes some of the city’s most iconic sights. With loads of free things to do and try out, including the new Tricks & Tunes area, plus the friendly Bike Cafe, the organisers are rolling out a real festival atmosphere.
